Temple Luxe Hair Care Guide
At Temple Luxe Hair, we want your investment to last. The beauty, health, and durability of your raw extensions depend on a consistent care regimen. Unlike processed hair, raw hair requires more maintenance — each strand needs hydration and conditioning to remain soft, full, and long-lasting.
Follow these essential guidelines to keep your bundles in flawless condition:
Before Install
- Always wash and deep condition bundles before installation.
- Deep condition every 2 weeks with a rich hair mask to restore nutrients and increase longevity.
Washing & Conditioning
- Detangle thoroughly before washing.
- Use sulfate-free, paraben-free shampoo & conditioner.
- Detangle while wet with conditioner in, starting at the ends and working upward.
- For wavy and curly textures, use a wide-tooth comb or wet brush for best results.
Drying & Moisture
- Pat dry gently — avoid rough towel drying.
- Air dry or sit under a hooded dryer. Avoid blow dryers, which can cause breakage.
- Apply a light leave-in conditioner and a small amount of natural oil daily to maintain hydration.
- For curly and wavy textures, apply leave-in conditioner daily to reduce frizz and define curls.
Styling
- Always apply a heat protectant when using hot tools.
- Use minimal heat to preserve strand strength.
- Argan oil or lightweight oils can double as protectants.
Daily Care & Protection
- Wrap hair in a silk bonnet or scarf at night to lock in moisture and prevent breakage.
- Brush gently from tips to roots to reduce stress on the wefts.
- Avoid frequent heavy brushing — it can loosen threads (shedding).
For added protection, consider weft sealing.
Coloring
- Hair may be dyed or bleached, but always use a professional colorist to avoid over-processing.
